The Story
Samuel's journey into coding began at age 9, driven by a simple curiosity about how websites and games were made. What started as watching YouTube tutorials quickly evolved into a deep passion for programming. By the time he reached middle school, he had already mastered the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
But his path wasn't always smooth. When Samuel wanted to advance his skills beyond the basics, he hit a frustrating wall. Every quality learning platform came with a hefty price tag, and the few free options available were either outdated, confusing, or locked essential features behind paywalls.
This experience planted a seed. Samuel realized that millions of talented, curious students around the world faced the same barrier. High-quality coding education shouldn't be a privilege reserved for those who could afford expensive courses.
In 2024, after years of honing his development skills and working on various projects, Samuel decided to take action. At just 15 years old, he began building LearnCodeNow from the ground up, completely free, powered by AI for personalized help, with clear explanations, real-time code testing, and no hidden fees.
Now in 10th grade, Samuel continues to lead development of the platform while managing his schoolwork. He writes every line of code, designs every feature, and ensures that LearnCodeNow stays true to its mission: providing world-class coding education to underserved students worldwide, free forever.
